The Financial Analyst is a key member of the Strategy & Treasury team, responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities across the organization. This role provides accurate and timely financial insights within established company policies and regulatory guidelines. The incumbent will partner with finance and accounting teams to maintain and enhance processes, controls, and reporting, with a focus on optimizing financial performance, including net interest margin and overall balance sheet management.

Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor liquidity and daily cash position.
  • Daily cash, liquidity and capacity tracking spreadsheet.
  • Prepare monthly reports for Asset-Liabilities Committee.
  • Prepare quarterly financial board reports.
  • Prepare monthly property financial statements.
  • Administrate correspondent banking relationships and documentation.
  • Work with outside entities for routine filings.
  • Develop sound forecasting and projections for funding purposes.
  • Operate under and comply with the requirements and guidelines established by the regulating authority of financial institutions.
  • Assist with regulatory and external reporting requirements as needed.
  • Perform all duties in relation to the Bank Secrecy Act under the guidance of the BSA Officer.

Education, Experienceand Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business, finance, or accounting.
  • One to two years in cashflow management and forecasting is preferred.
  • One to two years accounting experience in financial institutions is preferred.
  • Experience with banking a plus.

Physical Requirements of Essential Job Functions:

The associate is frequently required to sit and/or stand, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools or controls that are typical of an office/bank environment. Lifting items weighting up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 80% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, etc. Weekend and evening work will be required.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment.
  • Extended viewing of computer screens.
  • Regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am - 5 pm. At times, working outside of the stated regular hours may be required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
