What You'll Do

As a Laser Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Fiber and CO? laser equipment while ensuring quality production and efficient material handling.

Responsibilities include:

  • Set up and operate CNC Fiber and CO? laser machines
  • Verify material thickness and load material into the automated storage system
  • Produce quality parts while meeting production standards
  • Identify and correct machine alignment and cutting issues
  • Troubleshoot minor programming issues independently
  • Cross-train on multiple laser platforms and production cells
  • Record production data using the computerized tracking system
  • Safely operate a forklift to move materials
  • Perform routine operator-level preventative maintenance
  • Maintain equipment logs and report maintenance concerns
  • Report production, quality, and material issues
  • Assist other departments as business needs require
