Amada Fiber Laser Operator
Pay: $30-$45/hr depending on experience
Location: North Phoenix, AZ
This is temp-to-hire position

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an experienced Amada Fiber Laser Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a high-end fabrication company in the Phoenix area. This company specializes in precision metal fabrication using stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel materials in a clean, organized, and fully air-conditioned production environment.

This is a highly skilled position and is not considered an entry-level or trainable role. Only candidates with prior laser cutting experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a 2023 Amada 3kw 5x10 flat sheet fiber laser
  • Perform laser cutting operations according to production schedules
  • Work with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel materials up to .375"
  • Load materials manually using overhead crane and vacuum frame systems
  • Collaborate with programming team to optimize nests and production efficiency
  • Perform daily calibrations and routine machine maintenance
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and assist with keeping equipment operational
  • Inspect finished materials for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of laser cutting experience in a production manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating Amada lasers or other top-brand laser cutting equipment preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to read and follow production specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Stable and documented work history in manufacturing or fabrication
