Job description

Director - East Coast Business Development (New Contractor Additions)
(Senior Manager, Director)
We Are a Mission-Driven Company
Sunlight Financial is a contractor-focused point of sale lender with a relentless focus on providing amazing service and delivering a best-in-class experience to our entire ecosystem. We're rapidly growing in every home service vertical - Windows, Remodel, HVAC, Roofing, Fencing, and more - and need exceptional talent to help us reach our goals.
Since inception, Sunlight has funded over $12 billion in loans with thousands of high-quality contractors nationwide-and we're just getting started. We're looking for passionate, driven teammates to help scale our growing home improvement business.
At Sunlight, we empower our teammates to make a meaningful impact. We're looking for A players who thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. We're a fast-growing company which means initiatives and strategy can evolve quickly as the business scales. We need teammates who move with that agility instead of resisting it: people who live and breathe an ownership mentality and don't wait to be asked, who take initiative and execute, and who step in on what needs doing even when it's not strictly "theirs."
Our salaries are competitive, our benefits are generous, and our culture is collaborative, connected, and fun.
If this sounds like you and you'd like to come build with us, we'd love to talk to you.

  • Communicate our value - Present Sunlight's products, programs, and value proposition in a compelling, consultative way that addresses prospective partners needs' and differentiates us in the market. Articulate with clarity and confidence.
  • Be creative - Develop innovative ways to engage contractors and solve their pain points.
  • Manage and prioritize your pipeline - Maintain accurate CRM activity, opportunity stages, next steps and forecasts while focusing time and resources on the opportunities with the greatest potential impact.
  • Represent the voice of the customer across the organization.
  • Gather market intelligence and insights as our "boots on the ground."
  • Collaborate across the organization - Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams to create a seamless partner experience and ensure long-term success.
