Job Summary:

As a Fence Foreman at National Construction Rentals, Inc. (NCR), you will oversee and manage the installation and maintenance of fences to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations. This role requires leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Essential Functions: 

Supervision and Coordination:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of fence installation crew members.
  • Assign tasks and provide guidance to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
  • Maintain communication with management and clients to ensure project requirements are met.

Installation and Maintenance:

  • Lead and participate in the installation of fence poles, fences, and related structures according to NCR specifications.
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are properly utilized and maintained.
  • Conduct quality checks to verify installations meet quality standards.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure crew members adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.

Customer Relations:

  • Interact professionally with clients and address any concerns or questions during project execution.
  • Provide updates and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Development:

  • Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, efficiency, and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience in fence installation and maintenance
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Licenses/Certificates/Registrations: 

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record within company guidelines. 
  • Positions that require driving a vehicle with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. or more require the incumbent to be at least 21 years old and possess a DOT medical card.
  • A forklift certification will be provided after hire.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

  • This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and may involve lifting and carrying heavy materials.
  • Flexible hours and occasional weekend work may be required based on project deadlines and client needs.
