ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do as a Fence Installer:

The Fence Installer supports the Project Foreman with the installation of fence systems, ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction on every project.

  • Follow instructions and fence installation procedures provided by the Project Foreman
  • Review plans, drawings, or verbal instructions to measure and lay out fence lines accurately
  • Establish fence locations in safe areas after utility locates are completed
  • Dig, auger, and tamp post holes using hand tools, power tools, and power-driven equipment
  • Set or pound metal or wood posts in varied ground conditions
  • Mix and pour concrete or tamp soil to securely set posts
  • Cut lumber or metal to required lengths for rails and fence components
  • Stretch and secure wire fencing using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Assemble and install gates in proper alignment and position
  • Load, unload, and distribute materials and maintain tools and equipment safely
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support project completion
QualificationsWhat You Bring:

El Instalador de Cercas apoya al Capataz del Proyecto con la instalacion de sistemas de cercas, asegurando mano de obra de calidad, seguridad y satisfaccion del cliente en cada proyecto.

  • Seguir instrucciones y procedimientos de instalacion de cercas proporcionados por el Capataz del Proyecto
  • Revisar planos, dibujos o instrucciones verbales para medir y trazar lineas de cerca con precision
  • Establecer ubicaciones de cercas en areas seguras despues de completar las localizaciones de servicios publicos
  • Cavar, perforar y apisonar agujeros para postes usando herramientas manuales, herramientas electricas y equipo motorizado
  • Colocar o clavar postes de metal o madera en condiciones de suelo variadas
  • Mezclar y verter concreto o apisonar tierra para fijar postes de forma segura
  • Cortar madera o metal a las longitudes requeridas para rieles y componentes de cerca
  • Estirar y asegurar cercas de alambre usando herramientas y tecnicas apropiadas
  • Ensamblar e instalar portones en alineacion y posicion adecuadas
  • Cargar, descargar y distribuir materiales y mantener herramientas y equipo de forma segura
