Job Description Summary:
We are looking for candidates with technical expertise to join our team as a Feed Mill Technician. This Position will be responsible for operating all processing equipment used in the production of feed.
Job Description:
Operate equipment, including receiving, batching, grinding, and pelleting
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
Complete FDA and production reports
Maintain Bio-Security Protocol at all times
Obtain daily inventories
Maintain ISO sampling procedures
Engage in preventative maintenance
Engage in weekly Plant fumigation
May perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of business English and arithmetic
Computer literate, experience in keyboard operation, Microsoft Word and Excel
Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees
Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Ability to maintain records and to generate reports which require extreme accuracy
Ability to operate a forklift
