Job description

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is currently seeking a Per Diem – Fee For Service In-Home Behavioral Assistant for our Partnership for Children program located in Northern NJ, primarily in Union, Essex & Hudson counties(Schedule: varies, evenings and weekends.)

The Partnership for Children program is designed to prevent disruption of a child’s placement, improve the use of positive coping strategies, and reduce clinically significant symptomatology by providing time-limited, collaborative clinical and behavioral assistance services. As a Fee for Service Behavioral Assistant, pay is based on each completed/billable hour of service provided.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Behavioral Assistants will provide in-home/in-community, face-to-face interventions to youth ages 3-18 (aged 21 for DD population). BA's will provide the necessary support to the youth to attain the goals of the service plan. The interventions will focus on addressing target behaviors and improving overall emotional, behavioral regulation abilities. BA's must complete required initial and annual training and certification. Minimum of 2 assigned youth.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High School diploma or Bachelors degree required
  • 1 year experience working with youth required
  • Bilingual Spanish highly desired
  • Valid driver's license
