Location: Okeechobee, FL, 34972

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Non-License Fee-for-Service Therapist to join our team in Okeechobee, FL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to clients in a community-based outpatient setting, supporting individuals, families, and caregivers as outlined in the client’s Individualized Treatment Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic treatment through community-based outpatient group, individual, and family therapy sessions.
  • Engage clients, families, and all relevant caregivers in therapy as indicated in the client’s Individualized Treatment Plan.
  • Coordinate and/or provide crisis intervention services as needed to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support client recovery and treatment goals.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; Must be a Registered Intern.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for mental health diagnoses
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health conditions
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office environment in a controlled atmosphere building.
This job also works clients homes and within the community, where the atmosphere is not
controlled by the employer. This position will also spend time traveling in their personal
vehicle.
