TBAC is a learning and teaching organization where we provide a designated Qualified Supervisor, Clinical Manager, and a match with a senior onboarding buddy to educate and guide our interns into learning how to provide in-depth care.

Pay is hourly, not salary. Salary range is an estimate of what our current employees make annually.

Compensation:

$49,600 - $63,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate and evidence-based counseling to clients, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and needs.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in regular supervision and professional development to enhance your skills and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma in the community.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Intern or Licensure in Florida REQUIRED. Students, please do not apply.
  • Experience in providing compassionate and effective counseling services to diverse client populations.
  • Ability to develop personalized treatment plans that empower clients to achieve their mental health goals.
  • Proven track record of conducting individual and group therapy sessions in a supportive environment.

Tampa Bay Area Counseling is a unique, therapist-owned and operated mental health practice founded by counselors with 20+ years of experience. We have over 40 full-time, W-2 employed counselors working Mondayโ€“Friday with no evenings or weekends. Our clinic-based model emphasizes collaboration, support, and clinical excellence. Our environment is very social and collaborative.

We offer private, non-shared offices and a comprehensive benefits package including paid same-day cancellations, company-paid malpractice insurance, free clinical supervision for interns, yearly raises, medical/dental/vision insurance, life and short-term disability insurance, EAP, 401(k), PTO, and 0% interest clinical advancement loans.
