Location
NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD - VA US (Primary)
Job Description
The individual selected for this job must have a US Navy technical background with specific experience working within the DoD Gold Disk MTR program. The technician will provide accurate and timely technical support to customers via telephone, email and chat. The calls will be technical in nature with varying degrees of priority. In this role. The technician is also responsible for escalating the call/ticket to the appropriate resource.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Answer incoming calls from external DoD commands
  • Provide Level One and Level Two support and escalate as needed
  • Requires strong communication and excellent customer service skills. Role may be considered mission critical.
  • Document details of all calls and update ticketing system appropriately

Job Requirements
Candidate must have DoD armed services training in an electronics field. Completing an A and C school electronics NEC or equivalent.
A minimum of 6 years using are repairing AN/USM-646 and AN/USM-674 troubleshooting system
Knowledge of US Navy MTRTS system
Be able to manage and provide CONUS and OCONUS FEDEX shipments to move customer materials
Work shoulder to shoulder with government customer to provide top tier support services
Clearance Requirement
