Oneida ESC Group has an immediate opening for an Accounting Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort, scan, distribute, and maintain incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Process accounts payable transactions, including company credit card reconciliations and vendor invoices.
  • Assist with accounts payable responsibilities for one or more affiliated companies.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial and administrative records.
  • Prepare, mail, and track vendor payments and outgoing checks.
  • Coordinate UPS, FedEx, and other shipping and receiving activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for company travel arrangements and travel-related administrative support.
  • Assist with accounts receivable collections by communicating professionally with commercial clients regarding outstanding invoices.
  • Process payroll-related administrative tasks for Oneida ESC Group.
  • Order office supplies, coffee, and other workplace necessities while maintaining inventory levels.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Accounting and Corporate Services teams.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
     

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support role.
  • Basic understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information professionally.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with accounting or ERP software.
  • Experience supporting multiple business entities or locations.
  • Previous experience in a professional services, engineering, construction, or government contracting environment.
  • Customer service experience involving vendor and client communications.


Compensation Range: $18.50-$22.50/ Hour + Benefits
