You will conduct phone interviews, assess candidates, and build strong, collaborative relationships with the hiring managers you support. You will also step out to represent Federated at select job fairs and recruiting events, championing an employer that pays above the market average, promotes from within, and invests deeply in the communities where we live and work. As a Recruiter at Federated, you will:
  • Develop a deep understanding of company roles, departments, and hiring procedures.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality candidates aligned with job-specific requirements.
  • Ensure professional and timely communication with applicants and hiring managers.
  • Coach and influence hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Provide expert consultation to resolve challenges and ensure successful hiring outcomes.
  • Administer new employee Welcome Receptions and support onboarding efforts.
  • Represent Federated at job fairs, interview days, and other recruiting events.
  • Create and maintain recruiting tools and resources.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience required.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and industry-specific recruiting practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Experience with iCIMS, UKG, or similar HRIS systems.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

This position may be based out of either our Owatonna, MN or Mankato, MN office. Recruiters who work out of the Mankato office will complete their initial training at the Owatonna office.
The Recruiter pay range is $80,300-$108,700. Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information can be discussed with a member of the Recruiting team.
