What Will You Do?
Are you ready for a career that combines business analysis with meaningful client relationships? As a Premium Auditor based in Omaha, Nebraska, you'll be the bridge between our company and the businesses we serve, ensuring fair and accurate insurance pricing while building lasting professional connections. As a Premium Auditor, you will always be on the move, meeting new people and learning about new businesses. You will build relationships of trust with business owners as you ensure that our pricing is fair and adequate. You will provide vital information to your coworkers in sales and underwriting to help them effectively serve our clients.
This position will be responsible for Federated Insurance clients within the assigned territory, which includes the entire state of Nebraska and the western half of Iowa.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to insured businesses throughout your assigned territory
  • Review and verify our clients' financial information and business operations
  • Analyze information to determine if the client is paying the correct amount of premium
  • Conduct comprehensive visual surveys of client premises and assess overall business operations
  • Provide client information during the underwriting process
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and underwriters to address programming and pricing concerns
  • Advise clients on risk management resources and techniques
  • Support sales efforts by attending client meetings with sales representatives
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of premium audit policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A four-year degree in a business-related field
  • Prefer background in insurance or financial services
  • Strong computer and time management
  • Excellent analytical and communication abilities
  • Overnight travel up to 5 nights per month
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Premium Auditor pay range is $72,900 - $98,700.
