Job description

About Foursquare
Foursquare is the leading independent location technology and data cloud platform, helping businesses connect the digital and physical worlds with precision and purpose. Our products power everything from market analytics to targeted experiences, relied on by some of the world's most iconic brands.
But what makes Foursquare truly special is how we work. We're a team of builders, problem-solvers, and collaborators who care deeply about impact - both in the products we ship and the way we show up for each other. Great outcomes come from strong collaboration and shared ownership, and we believe growth happens through real challenges - whether that's leveling up a skill, tackling unfamiliar problems, or pushing a project forward in a new way. If you're excited by cutting-edge tech and a culture that values both autonomy and teamwork, you'll thrive here.
About the Position
Foursquare is looking for a Customer Analytics Lead to join our team in our New York office on a hybrid schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in office.
In this role, you will support the Customer Analytics function by delivering accurate, timely, and actionable analysis for customer-facing teams. Working closely with your manager and GTM stakeholders, you will execute recurring reporting workflows, analyze campaign performance, troubleshoot reporting questions and translate complex data into clear customer-ready insights.
This is a hands-on analytics role focused on execution, quality control, process improvement, and measurement. You will own projects from intake through completion, validate reporting outputs, investigate data quality issues, improve analytics workflows, and help teams understand performance drivers through methodologies such as attribution, incrementality, and lift analysis.
This role is ideal for someone with early analytics experience who is eager to deepen their measurement expertise, strengthen their reporting skills and help build scalable analytics processes.
What You'll Need
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing analytics, customer analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, or related fields, preferably within digital media, SaaS, technology, ad tech, or martech environments.
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with datasets, as well as proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience creating clear tables, charts, summaries, and reporting outputs.
  • Foundational understanding of marketing analytics, campaign reporting, attribution, lift studies, incrementality, or media measurement.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Experience with BI tools, dash-boarding platforms, Python, PySpark, or automation tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field preferred.
  • Your own unique talents. If you don't meet 100% of the qualifications outlined above, we encourage and welcome you to still apply.

At Foursquare, we're committed to offering competitive pay and benefits that reflect market standards and the unique strengths each candidate brings. Actual compensation is based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and office location. We also regularly review our compensation practices to ensure fairness, equity, and alignment with evolving market trends.
While final offers for this role may vary slightly based on individual qualifications and experience, we aim to stay within the published range below to support pay equity and transparency across the organization.
Compensation Package Details:
  • Total estimated cash compensation: $150,000- $170,000, which includes the following components:
    • Annual base salary range: $100,000 - $130,000
    • Annual sales-based commission (target): $20,000-$50,000
  • Equity: eligibility to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) subject to board approval

Our total compensation package also includes the wide range of benefits and perks listed below.

  • Paid time off (including flexible PTO, paid sick leave, 11 paid holidays, and a paid year-end office closure) - take the time you need to rest and recharge

  • 401(k) with company match - invest in your future with support from Foursquare
  • Family planning support - paid parental leave and access to fertility and family-building programs through Carrot
