Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse client base within various industries. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your leadership skills and contribute to the success of our firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse client base within various dynamic industries.

  • Perform tax research and work with clients on tax matters.

  • Implement special projects related to tax.

  • Work directly with clients and collaborate with tax engagement teams.

  • Identify and implement tax planning strategies.

  • Prepare tax calculations.

  • Manage client relationships.

  • Develop staff in a highly interactive team environment.

  • Lead multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation or JD/LLM is a plus

  • Active CPA License required

  • A minimum of seven (5) years of experience in tax from a public accounting firm and/or corporate blend

  • Advanced technical and tax accounting skills in the areas of C-Corp & Partnerships

  • Proven leadership skills in managing client service teams and multiple projects in a fast-paced and interactive team environment

  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships

  • Effective writing, communication, and tax research skills

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,500.00 - $195,400.00 per year.
