What is a federal program coordinator?

Federal Program Coordinators are professionals responsible for overseeing and managing federal programs within organizations such as schools, government agencies, or nonprofits. They often serve as the main point of contact between the organization and federal agencies, helping to implement program objectives and monitoring progress toward goals.

To thrive as a Federal Program Coordinator, you need strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills, often supported by a bachelor's degree in public administration, business, or a related field. Familiarity with federal regulations, grant management systems, and reporting software such as Grants.gov or federal financial management tools is typically required.
