KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist, Oracle GL/AP to join our Managed Services practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with industry/business subject area professionals, software engineers and technical leadership as part of a dynamic, distributed, and fast paced managed services team to manage day-to-day operations of cloud-based platform applications like Oracle Financials
  • Manage team that provides level 2/3 support including break/fix, enhancements, reports and upgrades to KPMG clients and users of cloud-based applications
  • Oversee client delivery by providing timely and accurate reporting and creating and delivering insights to clients with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs); deliver weekly and monthly status reports and performance reports; develop and distribute operational performance reports and analytics to applicable stakeholders; troubleshoot and provide solutions to complex Oracle and Client processes
  • Execute the day-to-day maintenance activities of Oracle Cloud for a variety of clients including process design, package implementation lifecycle support and project reviews; identify, document and manage client business / functional requirements
  • Assess client requirements and build of product specific functional specifications; support the planning, preparation and execution of future releases; provide specialized investigation and diagnosis of all incidents to identify problems and escalate unresolved incidents to external support
  • Facilitate client discovery sessions to define project scope and requirements, and translate business processes to functional/technical specifications and user stories; contribute to continuous service improvements by monitoring performance, identifying recurring issues, and recommending enhancements aligned with firm standards
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent experience supporting medium to large applications, working directly with internal/external clients
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field
  • Experience with Oracle implementations, post-production support, upgrades and functional testing with understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) and service desk management; strong configuration skills across Oracle Cloud Applications.
  • Required module experience: Oracle General Ledger, Accounting Hub, Project Billing and Costing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Lease Accounting
  • Capability to work independently and take ownership of and complete relatively complex tasks, effectively using available resources, as needed, with minimal guidance; ability to work well as part of a mixed team including, project managers and technical consultants, client personnel (both on and offshore)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills; strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and written and oral communications skills and the ability to articulate ideas effectively
  • Ability to travel as necessary depending on client and business needs
