Job description

The Florida Democratic Party is excited to be hiring Voter Registration Fellows in counties across the state. Voter Registration Fellows will assist the FDP in registering young voters statewide. Fellows will be responsible for 10 hours of direct community contact a week and will have the opportunity to attend up to 5 hours of organizer development trainings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run voter registration operations. Plan and execute voter registration canvassing and events to reach young people in your community.
  • Recruit volunteers. Reach out to prospective volunteers, make direct individual asks, and consistently grow your team week over week.
  • Track and report results accurately and on time. Keep careful records of voter registrations, student contacts, and event outcomes. Flag when you're falling behind, propose solutions, and learn from what's working and what isn't.

This is a contracted position lasting through November, 2026. Compensation for the position will be a one-time stipend of $1,800.
