As of 10/01/2021, the MAPA career ladder has changed and is no longer a GS-7/9/11/12/13. UNIT DESCRIPTION
The Executive Operations Unit (EOU) enables the FBI's technical investigative program by providing accurate and prompt assistance to the Assistant Director (AD) and the Executive Management Team through project management, program analysis, oversight of strategic communications, and the maintenance of strategic partnerships.
KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a current, permanent FBI employee
• Must be able to obtain an SCI clearance
• Selectee will be required to complete form FD-887, Request for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)

MAJOR DUTIES

• Provide comprehensive daily support and consultation to executive management ensuring leaders have the information, coordination, and administrative structure needed for efficient operations.
• Coordinate division-wide tasks, and internal/external requests for information, ensuring all requests are appropriately coordinated and processed by gathering input, identifying the most relevant information, and producing polished, complete submissions.
• Engage OTD Units to maintain an awareness of OTD Units' capabilities and services and to identify opportunities for collaboration.
• Plan and execute logistics annually for several formal special events, international and partner visits, and ad hoc event requests.
• Support internal and external executive engagements for the Operational Technology Division Front Office.

Specialized Experience (SE)
GS-12: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-11 grade level. SE is defined as follows:

• Experience briefing to external partners to elicit effective cooperation and information needed to provide executive support within and outside the division.
• Experience demonstrating written communication skills to convey the divisions interests to Executive Management and internal/external partnerships.
• Experience supporting division level events coordinating division inputs, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and monitoring adherence to applicable regulations and internal governance requirements.
• Experience demonstrating knowledge of the FBI's organizational structure, mission, functions, and programs, including an understanding of how divisions and subordinate elements align to achieve strategic objectives and operational outcomes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Limited Movement: Policy has been implemented wherein support employees entering a position may be precluded from moving to another position within the Bureau through reassignment or change to a lower grade for a minimum of 12 months. HRD will waive this limited movement policy for qualified employees, who have received an official notification letter that their current position is being relocated due to an organizational restructuring initiative, so those employees can compete for a position elsewhere. Voluntarily leaving a position with a relocation incentive may result in loss of that incentive. Please notate that you have received an official notification letter within your application.
• Probationary employees are precluded from being considered for all job opportunities until 12-months of their 24-month probationary period has concluded. • Relocation expenses will be borne by the selectee, except FBI employees returning from LEGAT assignment. Employees returning from LEGAT assignments must advise the Staffing and Administrative Unit / International Operations Division of their application for this position.
