Your tasks
  • Plan, review, set up, and improve threaded fasteners, joints and plant programmable logic controller (PLC)-based threaded fastening screwdrivers and equipment technologies on specialized threaded fastening equipment to join mechatronic components using threaded fasteners (screws, nuts and bolts made of high strength steel, aluminum and plastic, cold forged according to drawing, ready-to-install, galvanized and coated) and ensure production of mechatronic passenger vehicle seat structures including seat adjuster systems and motors (actuators); window regulators; and door modules (including window regulators and door latches). Ensure plant fastening equipment is in optimal condition to assemble from both mechanical and programming standpoints. Plan, develop, and assure optimal setup, calibration, and programming of threaded fastening controllers to Siemens PLCs for the operation, sequencing, and control of production fastening equipment including Apex and Desoutter transducerized nutsetters.

  • Twenty-four months' experience as Engineer, Technologist, or related, setting up and improving threaded fasteners, joints and plant programmable logic controller (PLC)-based threaded fastening screwdrivers and equipment technologies on threaded fastening equipment to join components using threaded fasteners and ensure production of passenger vehicle seat structures, window regulators, or door modules, or related.
