Company OverviewOur client, a family-owned manufacturer specializing in precision machined components for the automotive, heavy truck, agriculture, appliance, military, and marine industries, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Warren, MI.Why work here? This company has over 65 years of experience delivering high-quality precision machined components to leading manufacturers across multiple industries. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work on a wide variety of manufacturing engineering projects while helping improve processes and drive continuous improvement. You'll work directly with the Vice President of Engineering and play a key role in helping modernize and strengthen the company's engineering organization.What You'll Work On

  • Precision machined components for automotive and industrial customers
  • CNC turning, rotary transfer machining, and other precision machining technologies
  • Process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Capital equipment and manufacturing automation projects
  • New product launches and manufacturing process development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3-7 years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and collaborating closely with production personnel.
  • Experience supporting CNC machining, precision machining, metal cutting, or automotive manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and problem-solving methodologies
  • Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma experience is a plus
