What You'll Do

As a Process Technician, you'll be part of our Manufacturing team located in Chesterfield, MI. You'll get to:

  • Operate Injection Molding Machines - Arburg, Toshiba, Engel
  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and operate thermolaters, Hot Runner systems, Material dryers, monitoring systems, End of arm Tooling, bagging machine and grinders.
  • Operate and program sprue pickers and multi - axis robots
  • Troubleshoot all equipment and perform maintenance requests with pertinent information and identify root causes for quality issues.
  • Perform a process transfer to match original Master Process - matching fill rates, gate freeze, cooling and cycle times, etc with a repeatable process.
  • Create labels and generate appropriate workorders. Perform workorder changes

Who You Are

  • High School diploma required
  • 3 years experience with injection molding
  • 2 shot molding experience
  • RJG scientific molding certification - preferred
  • Computer skills, specifically with performing inventory transactions
  • Forklift certified or ability to successfully complete
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb, etc for 8 hours or more.
