Title: 24-00596 - BOM & Engineering Change Coordinator (Entry Level)


Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level engineer to support Bill of Material (BOM) and Engineering Change Management activities. This role will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to maintain accurate product data, support engineering changes, and ensure timely updates within company systems.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs).
  • Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Review engineering drawings and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate engineering changes with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain product structure and configuration data in engineering systems.
  • Assist with data validation, reporting, and process improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with established document control and change management procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Internship, co-op, academic project, or professional experience involving BOMs, engineering documentation, or change management preferred.
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings and product structures.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred

  • Minimal exposure to PLM, ERP, Teamcenter, SAP, Windchill, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, product development, or engineering processes.
