We have multiple locations throughout the United States with our corporate headquarters located in Elmhurst, NY. Concentrating our priority on customer service, we have obtained a stellar reputation within the industry. That reputation is built by our greatest asset…our employees. Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently seeking a Sales Representative to join our team.

Position Overview:

The Sales Representative on the New Business Development team will learn how to generate sales activity with the customer base while providing customer service activity to support customer requirements. They will also develop relationships with new customer accounts by reaching out and introducing Century Fasteners to potential companies.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for providing customer service to new customers.
  • Generates increase of new sales activity, leads, and opportunities for the branch at all times.
  • Qualify customers, leads and opportunities
  • Documents all activity via use of CRM, Quote Application, and other database tools as required.
  • Must have open communication with Inside Sales and Regional Sales departments at all times.
  • Continual education and growth of fastener industry and products.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent analytical and sales skills.
  • Knowledge and use of basic PC skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Fastener industry and product knowledge a plus.
