Job description

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on District Manager to lead a team of high-volume fast-casual restaurants. This role is about building strong General Managers, driving consistent execution, and delivering results in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.

You’ll oversee [6–10] locations and be responsible for sales growth, operational consistency, and developing leaders who can run great shifts without you.

What You’ll Drive

1. Sales & Profitability

  • Deliver comp sales growth and hit district EBITDA targets
  • Manage key drivers: labor %, food cost, throughput, and waste
  • Identify underperforming stores and implement rapid recovery plans

2. Operations & Throughput

  • Ensure every location executes fast, accurate, and consistent service
  • Optimize peak-hour performance (line flow, ticket times, staffing)
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and brand standards

3. People & Leadership

  • Hire, coach, and develop high-performing General Managers
  • Spend the majority of your time in restaurants, coaching in real time
  • Build a strong bench—ready-now AGM and GM pipelines

4. Guest Experience

  • Ensure every guest gets fast service and a great experience
  • Use guest feedback and operational data to drive improvements
  • Lead by example during peak periods

5. Culture & Accountability

  • Create a culture of ownership, urgency, and high standards
  • Hold GMs accountable to clear metrics and behaviors
  • Recognize top performers and address gaps quickly
What Success Looks Like
  • Strong, consistent execution across all restaurants (no outliers)
  • Measurable improvement in throughput and guest satisfaction
  • Stable teams with low management turnover
  • Multiple internal promotions (AGM → GM readiness)
  • District consistently hitting or exceeding sales and profit targets
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of multi-unit leadership in fast casual or QSR
  • Experience managing high-volume locations ($1.5M–$4M+ per unit typical)
  • Proven ability to improve throughput, labor efficiency, and team performance
  • Strong coaching mindset—you develop people, not just manage metrics
  • Comfortable being in stores 70–80% of the time
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base: + bonus tied to sales, EBITDA, and operational KPIs
  • Car allowance or mileage reimbursement
  • Health, dental, vision
  • PTO +
  • Clear path to Regional Director
