Job description

Fashion Intern - Fall

PURPLE is actively seeking bright and enthusiastic interns to join the Fashion team! The right candidates must have a genuine passion for Fashion PR. They must also be extremely detailed, hard working, organized, driven, and creative; willing to learn while also taking initiative. Good written communication skills and a basic understanding of public relations are also desired.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing sample trafficking, coordinating sample loans and send outs
  • Scanning and formatting coverage daily
  • Support with monthly report and weekly pitching for different brands
  • Updating contact lists and media databases
  • Assisting with special events, press day, and ad hoc projects per request
  • Day-to-day operations of the agency
  • You will be given and present an end-of-term Internship Project, on which the PURPLE Team will guide and assist you. This mock activity will support you in building your personal portfolio while helping infuse key learnings and takeaways from across your Internship
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Passion in Fashion editorial and eager to learn
Intern Payment and Working Hours:
  • This is an unpaid internship. We will provide experience that meets the criteria for academic credit and will complete any paperwork provided by the student to obtain course credit from an accredited academic institution. You must be able to work in office a minimum of 15 hours per week.
  • Please note, this internship is on site with no remote work opportunities.
