Job description

Fine Line Improvements is looking for an experienced Roof & Siding Repair Technician to join our team. FULL-TIME OR PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE


We are a local, family-owned exterior remodeling company serving the Rochester area. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and comfortable handling smaller repair jobs independently, as well as assisting on larger roofing, siding, gutter, soffit, and fascia projects when needed.


Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose and repair roof leaks
  • Complete shingle repairs, flashing repairs, pipe boot replacements, and minor roof repairs
  • Repair siding, soffit, fascia, trim, and gutters
  • Install or repair small sections of roofing or siding
  • Pick up and deliver materials as needed
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners and office staff
  • Take before, during, and after photos of work completed
  • Keep work areas clean and professional
  • Help with exterior projects as needed


Ideal candidate:

  • Has experience with roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, gutters, and exterior trim
  • Can safely work on ladders and roofs
  • Is comfortable troubleshooting leaks and exterior water issues
  • Can work independently without constant supervision
  • Has a valid driver’s license
  • Is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work
  • Has good communication skills with customers and team members
