Job description

Looking for a Full time or Part time farm helper. 3 to 6 days a week. 8-5. exact hours are flexible. Construction skills a must. Cattle Farm. This job is labor more than cattle work.


Duties: Jack of all trades.

Build fences. Set posts, pull wire,

Run heavy machinery: operate tractor, run excavator and bobcat. haul machinery. repairs.

Painting: painting barns, fences, interior painting.

Land maintenance. Lawn Mowing, bush-hogging, lots and lots of chainsaw work, chipping, weed control.

Animal care. Cattle movement, Horse care, ducks, chickens. vaccinations, tagging, feeding.

Construction: framing, running/repairing water lines, light electrical. plumbing, pex work.


On the job training available. starting pay based on skill set and ability to work fast and independently. You will work alone most days in the heat, cold, and rain.

Must have your own reliable transportation.

Must have a reliable phone.

Pass a background check.

Must pass a drug test (THC ok). Must work sober.

Days off with advanced notice.

1099 position, independent contractor.


No pay advances. Paid every two weeks by direct deposit or check.

We are a small sustainable farm. We raise highland cattle. We also have a few rental properties that require maintenance.
