In this position students will work with faculty to support the Ecological Farming program in partnership with a local farm, Rugged Roots (Lost Sierra Food Project.) Students will be involved with many aspects of the running the program and assisting at the farm, including: planting and caring for seedlings, pulling weeds, maintaining and cleaning garden and farm tools, harvesting, educational opportunities, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in a minimum of 6 units in corresponding semester. Must present appropriate documentation that establishes identity and employment authorization.

• Some knowledge of and interest in learning gardening and farming skills is a plus

Essential Duties

• Maintain and clean garden and farm tools and facilities such as the campus greenhouse.
• Help faculty prep for courses, and other related duties as assigned.
