OVERVIEW
JOB TITLE: Tommie Athletics Marketing and Promotions Student Intern
LOCATION: St. Paul Campus
PAY RATE: $16.50/hour
HOURS: Tommie Athletics Events (evenings, weekends, school breaks)

Job Summary
The St. Thomas Athletic marketing office is seeking undergraduate student interns to assist as part of the marketing and promotions staff during the school year. Marketing and promotions student interns will work closely with a number of St. Thomas Athletics programs, execute in-game activities, and improve fan experience.
Essential Functions
  • Execute promotional activities on-court/ice/field to fulfill sponsorships, connect with fans, and encourage repeat attendance
  • Improve game atmosphere through promotions, giveaways, contests, music, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service to fans attending St. Thomas Athletics events
  • Coordinate with event management and other departments prior to and during events to ensure proper set up of promotional and gameday activities
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current University of St. Thomas undergraduate student
  • Interest in live events and collegiate athletics
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work games on nights, weekends, and school breaks including J-Term
