Job description

Position Summary

*This position is contingent upon Contract award.


The Program Manager holds overall responsibility for all contractor work performed. This individual leads the multi-project, multi-task team supporting SAF/AQ, serving as the primary point of contact between the contractor and the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and is designated Key Personnel under the contract.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and staffing efforts in response to task requirements across all contract work areas.

  • Formulate, communicate, and enforce quality work standards across the program.

  • Monitor progress on all tasks and resolve issues affecting the successful delivery of capability.

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all administrative and contractual requirements.

  • Serve as the single point of contact for the CO and COR, and remain reachable by phone and email during normal duty hours, responding to inquiries within 24 hours.

  • Oversee staffing stability, including monitoring vacancies, coordinating replacements, and managing surge requirements.

  • Prepare and present Program Management Review (PMR) materials on a quarterly basis, including burn rate, staffing/vacancy status, and open contract issues.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum Experience: 5 years

  • Education: Master's degree in Business or Engineering

  • Certifications / Expertise: PMP; DAWIA Program Management (Advanced)

  • Security Clearance: Secret


Working Conditions

Based at a contractor facility within 15 miles (approximately 30 minutes) of the Pentagon; not eligible for a Government-issued laptop under this contract.
