Job description

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings (BAH) is potentially seeking a Program Manager to provide research support administration services for our government customer in Falls Church, VA.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide personnel supervision and non-personal services necessary to perform business management support services and data analytics including but not limited to reporting, analyzing, strategizing, creating metrics and determining efficiencies of blood management.
  • Ensure that a Monthly Progress Report (MPR) is submitted outlining the expenditures, billings, progress, status, and any problems/issues encountered throughout contract performance.
  • Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items.
  • Provide assistance to the organization in developing mission and vision statements and subsequent goal delineation.
  • Works with assigned personnel to provide guidance for building operational plans and specifying measurable outcomes to include capital outlay planning efforts and prioritizes those initiatives to meet strategic goals.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Bachelor's or higher degree in English, journalism, communication or related field or must have at least three years of experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years' program management experience working with DoD military and/or civilian customers.
  • Must demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience with blood banking and blood regulations.
  • Must possess the ability to organize, direct, manage and review technical aspects of deliverables, involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks.
  • Must possess the ability to maintain and facilitate lines of communication across the client interface, at the senior levels of the client's organization, and with company partnerships.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. (For the purposes of this work effort, green card and visa holders are not eligible to apply.)
  • Must be able to obtain a government CAC card.
  • Must be able to pass a Tier II Investigation for a Moderate Risk Public Trust Position
