Job description

Internal/Family Medicine Physician
Location: Quincy, MI
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift
Job Summary:
Provide medical direction for the Clinic's health care activities and consultation for/ and medical supervision of, the health care staff. Provide primary health care services for patients and families, focusing on wellness and health promotion. Assists in call with other members of the clinic.
What You'll Do
  • Deliver patient-centered care in clinic and hospital settings.
    Diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Provide medical direction for the clinic concerning patient care activities
  • Participate in the development, execution, and annual review of written policies and procedures.
  • Participate in review of health records, QI projects, and attend department/committee meetings.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, treatments, and minor procedures.
  • Collaborate with specialists and provide clinical support for APPs.
  • Document encounters thoroughly and accurately.

  • MD or DO degree; Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine,
  • Excellent clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills.

Qualifications:
Education: Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Michigan. Must be Board certified or Board eligible.
Skills: Must be able to read, speak and write English. Strong Communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Good computer and electronic record skills.
License: Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan.
Certification: CPR/ACLS
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to move about the practice/department and between workstations; and prolonged periods of standing.
