• Conduct thorough evaluations of patient health histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting results to inform treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment protocols clearly to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process.
• Implement treatment protocols with adaptability and responsiveness to each patient’s unique condition and overarching healthcare developments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities, including evaluation notes, progress summaries, and discharge plans, in accordance with regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrate effective time management, balancing patient care responsibilities with administrative tasks while adhering to productivity expectations.
• Engage in departmental initiatives to meet established goals, contribute to patient satisfaction metrics, and enhance care accessibility.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities, staying ahead of industry practices and protocols.
• Actively participate in community outreach and marketing activities to promote services and enhance public awareness regarding the benefits of physical therapy.

Our outpatient physical therapy clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions requiring rehabilitative care. We take pride in providing personalized treatment plans designed to cater to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes while emphasizing education and engagement throughout their rehabilitation journey.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid physical therapy license for the state of Virginia is mandatory for practice.
• Current CPR certification as per American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients and staff alike.

• While a minimum of two years of experience in outpatient physical therapy is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
• Prior experience with electronic health record systems may be beneficial for efficient documentation and communication.
