We are an independent insurance agency thatโ€™s been helping Floridians find affordable and reliable insurance solutions for almost 20 years. Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer needs and advise clients on coverage options.
  • Provide quotes, prices, and required information promptly
  • Selling related products to customers
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers
  • Prepare and make policy changes
  • Maintain strong knowledge of company products, pricing, and policy features
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors and provide feedback
  • Routine follow up with customers
  • Answer phone promptly, professionally, and courteously
  • Maintain appropriate records in agency management database, including client conversations
  • Perform and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Organize and prioritize tasks
  • Identify & offer insurance solutions to customers

Skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • 3 Year prior insurance customer service or sales experience
  • Current 4-40 or 20-44 License
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills needed to work with customers
  • Willingness and ability to sell insurance products
  • Positive attitude and kind demeanor
  • Ability to fluently speak and write in order to respond to questions and present information
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information
  • Adept at multi-tasking, organization, & promptness
  • Ability to problem solve and deal calmly in situations where limited standardization exists
  • Self-motivated and teamwork-oriented
  • Willing to offer clients new policies
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, divide and work with percentages
  • Ability to carry out detailed oral or written instruction
  • Able to operate a keyboard, computer, printer, fax machine, scanner, and copier
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel is preferred
  • High School Diploma or AA Degree
  • Valid drivers license and able to commute to office
