Soul Restore Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote outpatient setting based in Everett, Washington. This role focuses on providing trauma-informed care with an integration of Christian principles for clients who desire a faith-based approach. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Soul Restore Counseling Center, you will:

• Provide trauma-informed counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, addressing their unique mental health needs.
• Incorporate Christian counseling principles into therapy sessions for those who express the desire for a faith-based approach.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals and mental health needs, often collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Facilitate counseling services assigned to you, often through partnerships with local churches, fostering community engagement.
• Actively participate in community outreach initiatives to build your caseload and establish new referral sources.
• Maintain accurate and timely client records and progress notes in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in regular communication with the center director regarding your scheduling and availability to ensure optimal client care.

You will primarily work with a diverse population of clients seeking mental health support, ranging from individuals dealing with trauma to couples and families. Our client base includes those who specifically want to incorporate their Christian faith into the healing process, making it essential for you to have strong knowledge of biblical counseling techniques and principles.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
• An independent license to practice in Washington D.C. (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) or be within 200 hours of completing your residency.
• Strong knowledge of the Bible and biblical counseling techniques, enabling effective integration of faith in therapeutic practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish strong rapport with clients and collaborate with team members.
• A compassionate, empathetic approach to counseling, crucial for building trust and rapport with clients.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical guidelines.

We prefer candidates who have:

• A minimum of one year of experience in trauma counseling.
• Dual licensure in Virginia or Maryland, as this will enhance service delivery.
• Training in EMDR or a willingness to complete EMDR basic training within three months of hire to provide clients with comprehensive trauma healing options.
• A robust understanding of various therapeutic modalities, allowing flexibility in approach based on client needs.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000. In addition to an attractive salary, we provide a range of benefits, including:
