About This Role

Join our vibrant team at Beulah Duke Learning Academy (BDLA) as a Preschool Teacher! Located within Chesapeake Christian Center, we're seeking individuals who share our passion for early childhood education and creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Our teachers play a vital role in shaping young learners' social, physical, emotional, and academic development, helping them grow into confident, lifelong learners.


What You'll Do
  • Prepare engaging lesson plans and activities that foster children's curiosity and creativity.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Teach essential skills, such as literacy, numeracy, and social skills, through play-based learning and interactive activities.
  • Maintain a well-organized and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
  • Assess and document children's progress, identifying areas of strength and need for additional support.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless transitions and shared goals.
