Job description

Children’s Christian Center is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Center Director to join our team.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should be flexible, dependable, and able to effectively manage a fast-paced, multi-tasked workload while supporting both staff and families.
Pay:
Compensation is based on education and experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Associate Degree required).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with children required.
  • Previous director experience preferred.
  • Must pass all state and federal background checks.
  • Must complete a health assessment and TB test.
  • Knowledge and understanding of DHS regulations required.

Job Duties:
  • Oversee daily operations of the childcare facility and ensure compliance with DHS regulations.
  • Manage employee schedules and time-off requests.
  • Maintain daily communication with staff and parents.
  • Conduct classroom observations and assist teachers with implementing approved strategies.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff members.
  • Create and maintain employee files to ensure compliance with DHS and Keystone STARS regulations.
  • Manage child files to maintain DHS compliance.
  • Provide classroom coverage as needed.
