TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our highly skilled hospital medicine team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, Georgia! The clinician hired for this role will work a swing shift schedule from 12pm - 12am.

  • Certified Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center

Opportunity Overview
  • 7-on, 7-off block schedule model
  • Great compensation package with bonus incentive
  • No solo clinician coverage required; NPs/PAs hired for this role will work alongside a hospitalist physician
  • Closed ICU: 20-bed
  • Inpatient background is preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply
  • Typical responsibilities: submitting orders (pain management), consults for new admissions, and providing cross coverage for calls
  • Average admissions on the night shift is between 6-8
