This is an onsite role located in Chicago, IL and pay will range from $18.00-19.00/hour.

Welcome to Love's: The Underwriting Representative is responsible for reviewing client factoring applications, recommending potential structures, and documenting approvals on new clients.

Job Functions: 

  • Analyze factoring applications and credit quality for all new clients
  • Recommend proposed pricing and structure
  • Communicate with inside sales team after reviewing new client applications and credit information
  • Analyze client and customer credit information to determine credit worthiness
  • Provide current information on industry trends
  • Provide final approval for transactions of $100,000.00 and under
  • Work with operations staff to redocument existing customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred
  • 0-1 years of related experience
  • Previous factoring experience preferred

Skills and Physical Demands: 

  • Ability to quickly grasp the credit quality of a prospective client
  • Ability to understand where a prospective client stands in Love's marketplace
  • Willingness to find solutions to prospective clients' problems
  • Work well with sales staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Understand the cross-selling opportunities of other Love's products
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
