Facility Technician (Full-Time)

Location: 2121 S. Blackman Road
Job Type: Full-Time (35-40 hours per week)
Job Summary
Hope Church is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facility Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all services, events, and daily operations.
This role is hands-on and requires flexibility, initiative, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, notices details others may miss, and contributes to
creating an excellent experience for everyone who enters the facility.
Schedule Requirements
Regular Schedule - Monday - Friday 7a-4p - (35-40 hours per week)
Schedule may vary due to Facility and ministry needs.
Must be available for covering evenings and weekend services times when needed.
All hours outside of the "Regular Schedule" will be given with advance notice.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Setup & Care
Assist with setup and teardown for services and events
Unlock and secure the building as assigned
Perform post-event walkthroughs to ensure the facility is clean and ready
Maintain entrances, restrooms, and common areas
Take out trash, vacuum, and perform general cleaning duties
Facility Maintenance
Perform routine cleaning, including carpet care and restroom restocking
Perform Preventive Maintenance of Building System Equipment (e.g.HVAC, etc.)
Maintain the appearance of the building and surrounding grounds
Perform repairs to the building when necessary. (e.g., Bathroom Fixtures, Sheetrock,
Painting, carpet repair/replacement, etc.)
Monitor and report facility needs or issues to the Facility Manager
Grounds Maintenance
Mow, trim, edge, and maintain outdoor areas
Remove debris such as trash and tree limbs
Repair any exterior building concerns.
Support seasonal upkeep (e.g., weed control, water patio flowers, general landscaping)
Operational Support
Maintain and update tasks using facility management systems (e.g., eSpace)
Submit work orders as needs are identified
Assist in developing plans for extensive repairs and maintenance schedules.
Assist with inventory and restocking supplies (paper goods, sanitizer, etc.)
Assist in continual improvement of building systems and procedures.
Support church events and services as needed.
Occasionally pick up supplies or run errands off-site.
Provide oversight for volunteers when assigned.
Safety & Equipment
Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly
Follow proper procedures for cleaning chemicals and maintenance tools.
Assist in identifying equipment needs based on facility demands.
Promote a safe and secure work environment.
Maintain awareness of building systems, including alarms and security.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to work to meet the needs of the Facility.
Physical ability to lift, move, and perform manual tasks
