Wildhouse is an experiential design and production studio specializing in large-scale brand activations, festivals, immersive environments, and custom event builds nationwide.
We’re hiring an experienced Scenic Fabrication Shop Foreman to lead production and fabrication crews in our Anaheim shop.
We need a steady, solutions-driven leader who knows how to run a crew without creating chaos. Someone who stays composed when timelines tighten, communicates clearly, makes decisions, and keeps projects moving without sacrificing quality.
This is a hands-on shop leadership position. You’ll work closely with project managers, designers, fabricators, and production leadership to take projects from drawings through fabrication, finishing, and load-out.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Lead daily shop production and fabrication crews
* Review drawings, production plans, timelines, and project priorities
* Create clear daily work plans and assign tasks based on crew strengths
* Keep teams productive, organized, and accountable
* Oversee carpentry, fabrication, assembly, scenic work, finishing, and load-out preparation
* Identify potential problems early and bring forward practical solutions
* Coordinate labor, materials, tools, equipment, and production needs
* Maintain quality control throughout the fabrication process
* Ensure projects leave the shop complete, clean, and installation-ready
* Communicate progress, changes, and potential delays to production leadership
* Maintain a safe, professional, and efficient shop environment
* Support on-site installations and travel as needed
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* 5+ years of experience in fabrication, event production, scenic construction, custom builds, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience leading fabrication or shop crews
* Strong working knowledge of carpentry, fabrication, assembly, and finishing methods
* Ability to read and interpret build drawings and production plans
* Confident delegating work and holding teams accountable
* Calm, clear, and decisive under pressure
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Organized, dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving production environment
* Able to lift 50+ pounds and work in an active fabrication shop, with or without reasonable accommodation
* Available to travel and support event installations as needed

COMPENSATION
$80,000–$85,000 annualized base compensation, based on experience, plus overtime where applicable.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Anaheim, California.
