Job description

We are seeking a Temporary Fabrication Repair Technician to work onsite at our Van Nuys Warehouse. The person we are seeking should have a strong skill set working with Metal Fabrication / Welding / Carpentry / and all around handy person. This person should have at least 3-4 years of experience. The Fabrication Repair Technician is responsible for the repair and modification of NEP Mobile Units.
This is a temporary position that could lead to a more permanent position down the line. This position is Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm with some overtime as needed. The pay is $40 - $50 per hour based on skillset and experience.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Support Drivers and Engineers with repair of interior and exterior elements of NEP mobile units
  • Design and execution of modifications to mobile units to fit the client's needs
  • Design and execution of modifications to NEP fixed studio facilities to fit the clients needs.
  • Provide tech support to other NEP engineers.
Position Requirements:
  • Carpentry skills
  • Welding skills
  • Sheet Metal fabrication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Effective communication skillsWillingness to take on new challenges and problems and see them throughProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Prefer a person familiar with our industry but a strong skillset will be considered.
