Job description

We are seeking a dependable Shop Fitter to join our team in a fast-paced fabrication and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience reading measurements, fitting materials, and assisting with shop fabrication projects.

Responsibilities:

Fit and assemble metal components and structures

Read tape measures and follow blueprints or work instructions

Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Assist welders and shop personnel with fabrication tasks

Grind, measure, and prepare materials for production

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

Previous shop or fitting experience preferred

Ability to read measurements accurately

Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment

Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods

Dependable with strong attention to detail
