We're hiring a Fab Shop Assistant for a growing manufacturing company in Tampa. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fabrication environment. If you're dependable, mechanically inclined, and ready to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

Fab Shop Assistant – 1st Shift
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Responsibilities
• Assist with general fabrication shop operations
• Support fabricators and welders with daily production tasks
• Load, unload, and organize raw materials and finished products
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication
• Grind, deburr, and clean fabricated parts as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with packaging and preparing completed products for shipment
• Follow all company safety procedures and production standards
• Perform other shop duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, or shop experience preferred
• Experience using basic hand and power tools is preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to read a tape measure is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic
• Reliable attendance and dependability are required
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
