We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as PVC Extrusion Machine Operator (B) in our manufacturing facility. This role is integral to the operation of equipment and creation of quality conduit products that serve various industries.

Role Overview

Must Have Previous Manufacturing Production Experience

The Extrusion Operator Trainee is responsible for operating extrusion equipment in our dynamic manufacturing facility. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth production of our durable and reliable conduit products. Your expertise will drive our mission to exceed industry standards through effective and efficient production processes.


Day Shift - 7am to 7pm

Hourly Pay rates:

Start rate: $21.18/HR - Overtime Rate: $31.77/HR



Teams are working 12-hour shifts. Eight (8) hours regular rate and Four (4) hours Overtime rate each day worked. Shift includes a One (1) hour paid Meal Break


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining all records pertinent and necessary to a successful production run including quality control and production control records.
  • Packaging and processing of all finished products in compliance with normal procedures and standards.
  • Removal of finished products from production area to staging or storage areas designated in storage yard, warehouse or other departments.
  • Operation of all equipment related to obtaining, packaging, processing, weighing and storing finished products.
  • Weighing and processing of all sub-standard products generated by a production run.
  • Assist and train operators in the operation of all equipment related to obtaining, packaging, processing, weighing and storing finished products.
  • Adhere to the required Standard Operating Procedures of the position.
  • Attend all required training, including operations, safety, completion of Forklift Inspections and all other requirements as assigned and directed.
  • Consistently perform work in a safe and efficient manner with relation to machinery and co-workers at all times. Adhere to and follow all safety rules and safe work methods.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly area at all times and return supplies and equipment to assigned locations.
  • Any and all tasks, duties and assignments as directed by the Management team.


Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Wear and maintain in good condition all personal safety devices required and work in a safe and efficient manner with relation to machinery and co-workers at all times.
  • Be aware of safe work method and working conditions. Do everything possible to prevent personal injury and injury to others.
  • Ability to handle materials and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Ability to assess products for Quality Compliance.

Physical Requirements


  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn, apply and demonstrate Standard Operating Procedures required for position.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to adhere to company policies and rules.
  • Good working knowledge of measuring tapes, calipers and micrometers.
  • Ability to safely operate Forklift and able to obtain and maintain Forklift License.

Education and Experience


High School and/or GED required.

Forklift Operator.
