Operations Manager wanted to assist in building systems, processes, and a team required to support a rapidly growing manufacturer in Gaston County. Highly organized, proactive, detail-orientated individuals that balance strategic with hands on execution and those who are looking for a leadership track position who enjoys improving processes, problem solving, and driving accountability are encouraged to apply.

The Operations Manager is a key operational leader for inventory, procurement, vendors, systems, quality coordination, reporting, and operational execution. It is an excellent opportunity to help build rather than simply maintain.

Operations Manager Responsibilities:

Operations Manager Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics
  • Demonstrated ability to build structure and improve processes in a growing or changing organization.
  • Experience managing projects, systems, or operational processes
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • ERP systems or business management software proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting tools
  • Proactive communication and follow-through skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable and thrives on working in expanding, frequent change noncorporate environments
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, food production, or process industry experience
  • Inventory management and procurement or supply chain experience, a plus
  • Experience implementing or improving ERP systems preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
