Job description

POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for assisting in the effective and efficient operation of Ecommerce Department by posting of quality items and follow through and follow up on all items posted and sold and supervising and motivating Ecommerce staff.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
  1. Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures. Must possess professional etiquette.
  2. Responsible for overseeing the E-Commerce team daily operations as well as the acting manager on duty when the manager is absent. Must keep the E-Commerce Manager informed as to any changes made.
  3. Responsible for handling customer service tickets on shopgoodwill.com and eBay. Reassign tickets to appropriate staff as needed. Tickets must be monitored throughout the day.
  4. Hire, train and motivate Ecommerce associates, as well as supervise and discipline appropriately.
  5. Assist in maintaining all aspects of E-Commerce including listing, shipping, and processing as needed.
  6. Sets up and fills daily flash and production reports via excel. Must manipulate sheets, (formulas) due to special outside sales or other needs. Emailed M-F to senior staff.
  7. Create PowerPoint production numbers slide show for staff.
  8. Must monitor the shipping dept daily and throughout the day. Ensure that shipping is not falling behind, that shipments are being processed in a timely manner and that none are left unfilled. Requires continual monitoring. Rectify mis-shipments, issue return labels as needed, issue refunds as needed. Files FedEx claims in managers absence.
  9. Must coordinate the flow of wares with Warehouse Manager to ensure that product is available for processing and listing.
  10. Must continually monitor the department for safety issues and concerns. Submit requests to maintenance for repairs as needed.
  11. Reassign staff to other areas for vacancies due to illnesses, vacation, or other general needs etc.
  12. Must assist with all areas in sorting, processing, listing, pulling wares, shipping, purging as needed due to illnesses, vacation, or other general needs etc.
  13. Responsible for cross training staff into other "processing" areas of the department.
  14. Coordinates all IT facets and facilitates repairs as needed through contractor PCS. Also supports issues with software that the department uses such as Upright Labs, Shopgoodwill.com, eBay.
  15. Must learn to administer service to Packsize (box maker) as needed for repairs and general maintenance. Additionally, must learn how to use equipment and always maintain it for proper and safe operation if a lack of staff warrants the need.
  16. Responsible for ordering supplies for department via Uline and the corrugate needed for Packsize. Process purchase orders for such and send to VP for approval. Must co-coordinate Uline deliveries with Warehouse Manager and corrugate pick ups with the Transportation department.
  17. Meets with client job coaches and gives updates as to that staff members wellbeing, job functions, reports any issues as needed, in person, phone, email, etc.
  18. Must monitor inbound shipments to resolve customer issues, returns, etc. Collect from reception area.
  19. Assists Manager with monthly processing of precious metals for refinery processing.
  20. Stays continuously aware of employee production, assists staff as needed.
  21. Assists staff with potential unknown situations such as unique items, starting prices, and auction durations as they occur.
  22. Reconcile any missing inventory for shipments. Determine fault, contact customers if needed,
  23. Currently process month end sales reports for stores and ADC's that are sent to accounting. May change until experience is gained.
  24. Provide ad hoc numbers (sales, shipment numbers, volume percentages, etc.) to VP when needed.
  25. Must pull jewelry courier if needed, log in, distribute for jewelry sorters, transfer bags via slips and physically downstairs for re-distribution back to stores.
  26. Follows all company policies and safety procedures for all undertakings.
  27. Regular attendance is required.
  28. All other duties as assigned.

  9. Ability to engage in prolonged standing and walking.
  10. Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, stretching, and sitting.
  11. Vision corrected to within normal limits.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School or GED equivalent required, BA preferred. A minimum of one-year administrative experience preferred.
