Company Description ReSource Waste Services operates an integrated network of strategically located facilities that recycle a wide variety of waste materials and recover a high percentage of those materials into high-quality end products for reuse.

Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Salem, NH, responsible for overseeing daily facility operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. This position coordinates staff schedules, supervises frontline teams, and monitors equipment performance to maintain consistent throughput and product quality and helps support our fleet and logistics of trucking.  The Operations Manager analyzes operational data, implements process improvements, and collaborates with maintenance and logistics teams to minimize downtime and optimize workflow. This role also manages vendor and customer communication related to operational issues, supports budgeting and resource planning, and fosters a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability across the facility.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing operations in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or waste/recycling environments, with strong skills in workflow optimization and resource allocation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, including performance management, training, and fostering a safe and inclusive work environment.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and compliance practices relevant to industrial or waste management settings.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to other departments and assist in troubleshooting and resolving problems
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments and external partners.
